Does nobody see the idle bypass is not connected to the airflow meter ? All air ingested by the motor running on factory efi must go through the airflow meter. Your engine is running lean.

Popping when cold and predominantly through the intake and throttle body is always indicative a very lean afr situation. If your on programmable efi , check out your base maps first, then move on to the cold start and low temp compensation. If you are on factory efi, I would not have a clue...

Uhhh,what about them? I dont follow here? You talking the VVT-i? We have a box here that will actuate VVT-i with throttle depression,ie: load..but its not the correct way to go.. If you mean locking the VVT-i just so I can run it,No..It will be a dog. Sell this one and get a non VVT-i or M800...

PeeWee,Yes,Id agree there..I presume this is MAP based software used here? Its going to be as jumpy as all heck when you flick those throttles open..
