    Nitrous on SC'd Tundra 5.7?

Rods. And depending on how much nitrous, you might want to put in some darton sleeves. Motor is an open deck, and my not like the extra pressure up at the top without some extra support.

    snout mounted idler pulley

mabye a secondary shaft or something. I don't want to move the pulley anymore forward. Already sicks 4" above the hoodline at the pulley

    snout mounted idler pulley

Since my charger sits up so high I worry about belt slippage, especially because I want to run the smallest pulley possible, and later possibly run a twin screw up to 25psi. I have seen a few setups with a snout mounted idler pulley to really keep the belt wrapped tight around the...

    intercooler core for intake manifold

Even that you still want an intercooler. Just be a lot better of course

    intercooler core for intake manifold

heater core! look into it. You can get them from the local parts store.

    intercooler core for intake manifold

140mm wide is about as wide as you can go before you run into the sealing surface of the M112

    intercooler core for intake manifold

way to big for internal cooler. Good for external

    intercooler core for intake manifold

that is basically what I got, less the twin screw, but I am only into it $150 so far. Only problem is the pulley sticks out about 3" above the hood line. If you don't care about that, then no biggie. Gives a different look to the car no doubt about that, especially if I can find a HAT for it.

    intercooler core for intake manifold

Two different thing. A turbo actually compresses the air in between the blades of the compressor. As the air leaves the housing it actually decompresses(which also helps cooling the air). This is why twin screw and turbos are more effecient that roots and where the "positive displacement"...

    intercooler core for intake manifold

here is what I ended up doing. Just got to weld it all together now.

    intercooler core for intake manifold

My thoughts on the using that type of setup with maybe an air/air might end up causing another issue. Since superchargers are a positive displacement hot air dryer, the larger the volume of air to compress the worse it could be. Is it harder to keep say 2 cubic feet of air compressed vs .5...

    intercooler core for intake manifold

nevermind too wide. Got another that works better 9.5x5.5x1.7 and only $25 94559 is the model number

    intercooler core for intake manifold

I just found something that will work great, and it was cheap. $40 heater core from autozone. model number 9304. 9.4 x 7.5 x 2" core is 7.1 x 7.5' x 1.7" High density tube and fin with end tanks. Just have to weld the tubes in a different spot since they come out of the top of the end...

    intercooler core for intake manifold

Found these guys, but a little expensive. Plus their smallest core is 6"wide. Just a little too wide

    intercooler core for intake manifold

So imagine this but two of them stacked, and the u-bends cut off and end tanks welded on.

    intercooler core for intake manifold

I don't think the A/C has the capacity to keep it cool. I think heat soak would happen in a matter of seconds.

    intercooler core for intake manifold

yeah, saw his build, but don't know how well it worked. Would also like to find out where/how he got his core

    intercooler core for intake manifold

What I have right now is 12"x5x1/2" If I stacked them, I would have 1" thick. The thicker I go the more I have to raise my charger. From this picture here, that core cannot be very thick

    intercooler core for intake manifold

So here is my idea so far. I found a trans cooler that I can fit inside the manifold. I would carve out two pieces of 1/2" aluminum to fit the two trans coolers. Since the pipes on the coolers are smaller, it would run through both coolers at the some time doubling flow. I will post...
