    that would depend on which ecu your 3uz runs. Early is k-line with one comms line, later is canbus with two.

    I will comment on how I do it. When converting either a hilux or hiace from 2005-2015 (I have a 2014 hilux apart atm) to another engine I sell the engine, and keep the engine loom to cut up and I keep the stock ecu.

    I would swap them fine. Soarer ecu plug in and start engine but there are differences between systems. Soarer doesn't run trans temp sensor in the transmission where crown does etc.

    I have some on the way. The 3uz stock ecu will not operate with a manual throttle and I suspect the 1uz will be the same but Ill do some testing to confirm.

    Not really. Some of the jz might work however I go straight to normal injector conversion and aftermarket ecu

    Chances are the seals you removed started their life the same as the replacements, they had just deformed with age.

    Ive seen and used for some boost. I prefer not as on calculations they arent good for much power.
