I just checked. The SC400 motor is a 1996. I new it was the the first year of the high compression with the different air meter but i thought that that started in 95. so can i switch long blocks?

yup, nothing but down pipes, glass packs and turn downs. wonderful rumble, not as loud as say a harley but still setting of alarms everywhere it goes.

I finally had both the time and a nice day to get some newer pics of my supra.

Hear are 2 pics of the small dent in my booster. It was not hard to do (2" socket + 3/4 drive extension + big hammer) but you must be carefull not to dent it to much or you may hurt it.

I used my stock MK3 booster. I put a small dent in the wright spot and have had no problems. Its more of a problem with right hand drive cars as the right bank on the engine sits closer to the fire wall then the left side. Us left hand drive people can get away with the stock booster.

I got it. It was the ICV. I pulled it off and it was all dirty and stuck. Took it all apart and cleaned and lubed it and now the car runs mint.
