or any other ideas to test the ISCV? sometimes it drives perfect others on start up it sits up at nearly 2000 rpm and never comes right on that drive... but then the next drive it might be 100%.... so not to sure....

k ill check that again but i put a extra return spring on the throttle body incase anything happened to my cable... i pulled the idle stepper motor out and its a rebuildable one so i cleaned and lubed everything and reinstalled... i thought i had fixed the issue but now it seems to stall out but...

Hey guys not sure if this is the right place to post so mods can move it please if its not :D since im playing with diff ratios and wheels on my hiace the speedo is a mile out.... so ive found a unit to correct it from jay car but im wondering how the speed sensor/speedo/ecu relationship...

mine was a 1kz but from what i can work out on the tag its a 4.1.... i still havent changed it yet cos i want to put a tacho on it to see what its doing....

just push on then put high pressure clamps on it... no problems so far (6-7000km) you must be close to being on the road now?

i have about the same and it still just touches so ill have another look at how much more i can take out of it when i change my pump resiviour :) mine touches high up in the rev range and sounds like a little vibration under ya ass lol

yeah was gonna say i can get my pump out with the motor in place...grind back that big bolt before you put it back in to.... when the motor torques over this is the first thing to clash... and Kelvin i see on trade me you have a sump pan on there.... is this the alloy "ring" above the steel...

are the pump mounts the same Kelvin? can i take a pump off a front sump and put it on my rear sump?

mine might be a older motor or something... because it wasnt mounted to the pump like others ive seen.... unless it was removed before i got the motor or something?

come up the coast to kapiti diesel man.... did my high pressure hose for $100 its the bloody fittings that are expensive.... mounting the resiviour was a cock for me, have seen them in the battery box though which would be way easier than what i did but i have my ecu in the box so not alot of...

i made the adaptors to the intake manifold and air flow meter the blue pipe is from super cheap (intercooler piping) same with the clamps.... quite expensive though...
