Looking for a step or 2 colder plug for nitrous sc400 vvti

Lextreme is right on the money. This is exactly what I found out on another forum. 6097 is the ideal for FI applications, turbo, supercharger, nitrous. I believe it's 2 steps colder from stock, bkr5. Correct me if I'm wrong though, the higher the number the colder the plug.

Looking for a step or 2 colder plug for nitrous sc400 vvti

I think I found the right plug. They are ngk: pfr6g-11 = 1 step colder pfr7g-11 = 2 steps colder I'm leaning more to 2 steps colder plug for my 75 shot wet nitrous. What do you think? 1 step or 2?

Looking for a step or 2 colder plug for nitrous sc400 vvti

I'm looking for the inexpensive kind, roughly $2-$4/plug that would be good for a 75-100shot zex. I can't seem to get a part#. Also, I prefer only Denso or NGK.

    Wanted : A set of V8 1uz-fe headers for 98 SC400 VVT-i

I need aftermarket headers. I'm looking for a bit more hp.

    How about just a 75-100 wet shot on a 98 vvti v8?

That great! Just what I wanted to hear. I may also get the progressive controller, which I can start off with a lower shot at 3k rpm to a full 75 shot at higher rpms. I assume this is what the progressive controller is all about right? Thanks so much everyone.. But let's keep talking about...

    How about just a 75-100 wet shot on a 98 vvti v8?

Adding 12.5 more hp on each rod for another 100hp, which in my case would be adding just a little over 9 hp to each rod on a 75hp shot. But that's if it is in fact balanced that way.

    How about just a 75-100 wet shot on a 98 vvti v8?

Great info and does look like a significant difference in size. But I still think 75-100 should be okay. The Lextreme's are massive, whoa... Very nice.

    How about just a 75-100 wet shot on a 98 vvti v8?

Not so much as cost, but I've owned a sc300 i6 before, and have added turbo to it. It's a pita and I always have pop open the hood to tighten this and that, etc.. Secondly, I hate having to deal with smog checks because I always seem to get the ones that are test only,. And that is the...

    How about just a 75-100 wet shot on a 98 vvti v8?

My sc400 needs more power. I'm not satisfied with 290hp, well maybe 300 with the newly customized exhaust. I would like to drop a 75-100 shots of wet zex nitrous but I've heard people say the 1uz vvti can't handle the additional hp due to weaker rods compared to the non-vvti motors. Is this...

time to build exhuast any ideas?

Yes! I've recently done my sc400 vvti exhaust. I upgraded the pipes to 2.25" all around, removed the center cat, removed both resonators, and kept the original mufflers. When you drive normally it's only slightly louder than stock, but with more of a deeper rumble. Once you drive hard, to me...
