Lex, sorry I don't have any drawings or templates these flanges, i hand shaped them using a 4inch grinder & files with a quick finish using a small drum sander to follow the shape of the existing flanges, then had a mate weld it all together for me. I don't require a cold start injector as i am...

    dizzy on a 1uzfe

I have put a dizzy on a 1UZ in the past, i used a Chrysler V8 electronic dizzy which i cut down, i used a 3/8 drive 17mm socket to drive straight off the LH timing sprocket retaining bolt. My discription is pretty hopeless, i am going to have to take some photos if you are interested.

    My UZ's boost limit

One car i can think of at the moment that works to that percentage lose rule is a mates XF falcon thats fitted with a 351 cleveland carby to sump (including ignition) crate engine that produced 585hp on an engine dyno. that engine has now produced 408rwhp running through a C4 auto & 9inch diff...

    My UZ's boost limit

The old rule of thumb for driveline lose is 20% for manual & 30% for auto. Theres been many discussions/disagreements over this rule as well.

    How hot? (engine temp)

With my N/A 1UZ i competed in many burnout comps, coolant temp regulary saw between 110degrees c to 120degrees c, soon as the coolant temp got this high i would finish the burnout straight away while driving off temp would start dropping back to its normal running temp of 90degrees c, never lost...

    My UZ's boost limit

I'm interested in what Water injection you useing as well? Ray Hall tuned my car, he knew straight away what the miss problem was, just sent me away to lower the boost levels so he could do a proper tune on it, which was done.

    My UZ's boost limit

My motor does get hot alot quicker know that its supercharged but i also keep a really good eye on the temp guage & never let it get hotter than 115 degrees. Lucky for you that you must have a track close by to go racing on, theres nothing of the sort up here in the north, even my closest drag...

    Hubcentric Adaptors (Spigot Rings)

I'm by no means saying they are not a good idea, if you feal safer with them use them, just saying in my experience i've never had any problems with wheels that haven't located properly on the centre spigot

    Hubcentric Adaptors (Spigot Rings)

In the last 20yrs of driving around on crappy sealed & dirt roads in north Queensland, i don't think i've ever had a rim on any of my cars that has actually located on the centre spigot & i've never had any problems

    My UZ's boost limit

I think how you use your car also has a lot to do with how long the motor survives with boost, even at moderate boost levels, for example my engine didn't take to kindly to being trashed for a couple minutes in a burnout comp despite having a pretty safe tune 11.7 A/F's & 19 degrees advance, i'm...

    PHOTOS 112 on 1UZ

The plenium area of the 112 on my 1UZ is actually slightly lower than the original plenium. The drive pulley is actually the highest part of my setup Rod, do you really need to intercool a screw compressor, i thought that that was the advantage it had over a roots style blower.

Rod, is the 112 & W2A intercooler sitting on Richwood manifold? if not what sort of manifold? who made that W2A intercooler setup? It doesn't look like you are going to intercool the Opcon setup, is that right?
