it is not a problem to do. My 1uz with toyota 5 speed runs fine without tricking the ecu, running a crown majesta ecu, it does not log a code on the dash, run fine and good on fuel. It did require a speed signal from my dash

my hana tech is the same as an ultra scan. It will prog commodore and falcon keys. not sure on *** thou, i havent had the need to yet. i need to update mine again too

i use hana tech scanner/scope. Has odb/obd2 and can read efi, trans, abs, srs, security, bcm, etc list goes on. Also has built in scope. Great tool but unless you run a business like me, its not worth buying. If all you want is a tool for home, then i suggest you dont bother and just...

1uz in hilux with original g52 5 speed. i purchased crown majesta cut for the conversion which as all in 1 trans/eng ecu

some toyotas have a control unit behind the glove box that controls the ac. There is a tacho referance to this unit. it will require x amount of rpm or it wont cut in. It should be adjustable

what do you need an ecu for? im runing 1uz with manual on standard ecu.

thats a big nono modifing abs system. Its illegal to modify or remove a factory safety system such as abs

im using a filter off a john deere ride on mower. i have about 15mm clearance when its on but i do hace to take a bolt out of the idler arm to get the filter on and off
