I suggest you guys check out http://www.mp3car.com/ for small computer parts (including displays).... You might be better off than trying to source everything frm a computer store.

You might be right LS400GUY... Here is an article on replacing the fuel filter on 1990-94 LS400's (not 95+)... http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/EFI/fuelfilter.html I still suspect that there's a filter somewhere that you just might not know about....

LS400GUY, I have never heard of a car without a fuel filter... of any age. Even my 78 280Z has a fuel filter. Also, UZZ30-Québec, I know that you never use all of the fuel in your tank. I'm just "guesstimating." My Z is going to be a ton lighter than my SC400 (or y'alls LS400's). Simply trying...

According to autoguide, the LS400 tank is 85 liters = 22.4546244 US gallons. Assuming 400 miles per tank, that's around 18mpg. Not too shabby.

I've got to agree with Peewee. If you aren't going to go forced induction, the car simply won't have enough torque to push it as fast as it could with the 3.73 (or similar)... You're going to have to drive it to see how well it matches up and decide from there...

Doesn't seem like something that'd be fun to do with a 1UZ. I wouldn't run it off the serpentine belt (slippage), and the timing belt is pretty much out of the question due to pump location (on the DaileyEngineering ones with integral pump). You're looking at a custom belt with the other belt...
