when i got my engine the original toyota oil filter on it was huge. just go and get a Ryco replacement. they are a fair bit smaller themselves.

apart from tuning or back to back tests dyno's are useless anyway. they don't give a true indication of the performance of a car at all. every dyno gives a different reading and each have many settings to run on. you cant compare a dyno run from one dyno to a dyno run from another. unless...

ummm factory specs are roughly 147rwkw. (197HP) they put out about 200kW a the fly from factory. (268HP)

could you get an old engine....get it registered in Vic.... then transfer it to Qld?

ahhh okies.... didnt think the actual pulley accomodated the tensionser spring. get it now. :) i'm doing it coz im not running power steering OR air-con OR the belt driven fan. ;)

call me noob but what spring are you guys talking about?! :D how do i go about getting a similar custom pulley made up? would any decent workshop be able to make/modify one for me?

stock diff is around 3.9 i'll end up getting either a 3.7 or 3.9
