    1uz Mr2

T5 6 speed would handle the HP, but I dont think it will fit in a MR2 and a hollinger would cost around $AUD15 000+ brand new.

    Rotating Assembly

Would that mean our first Ross pistons (from the first group buy) will become obsolete??? Or will these fit the modified Eagle rods?

Intake manifold and waterbridge gasket thickness

I've got .079", so I wont need thicker gaskets?

Intake manifold and waterbridge gasket thickness

Hi, I've got the thicker Cometic gaskets, how thick would I need the inlet and waterbridge gaskets?

    Rods...

I think that's a great idea, if the manufacturer is up to it but I can't see why they would say no. Great thinking Rod :)

    Rods...

Maybe prices could be cheaper if the manufacturer(s) knew there was a "constant" demand and not just a one off buy. I hope that makes sense

    Rods...

Hi, I emailed PAR racing products on Monday, here's the reply I received; Greetings, Making a custom set is not a problem. For a 1 off set of 8 rods you will be looking at $2000. If you were to order quantities the price will be $1350 for 10+ sets. Please feel free to ask further...

    Chevy Rods

I'm not adding anything technical here but I really beleive, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, that the rods will have to fit the Ross pistons a few of us have already bought. Otherwise they are totally useless for most of us going for big HP(which is what they are desinged for).

New kw figures for the GT8

That's an awesome number! Good work mate. How far are you going to push the standard motor?

    Congratulations Toyota!

It will be interesting to see how much teams will change to Brigdestone next year. Oh yeh, the race was a DISGRACE!!! Thumbs down to FIA AND Michelin.

    Cutting An Intercooler

Running a water-air cooler will (approx) half the amount of intercooler piping opposed to an air-air. And yes, when I think about it having a water-air intercooler as big as I mentioned is a bit over kill, so it probably will be cut down even further. As for the heat exchanger I was going to use...

    Cutting An Intercooler

The only reason that I thought of cutting it up, is because I have a very nice friend that would do all the welding, piping and everything related for nothing more then the cost of the materials.

    Cutting An Intercooler

I've changed my mind on intercooling and I'm now going to run a water to air system. I have a large 600mm x 300mm x 100mm bar and plate intercooler and after talking to a good welder, I may get it cut down to a 300 x 300 x 200 I/C weld some tanks onto it and use it as a water to air I/C. What do...

    Billet Main Caps

I've been thinking again, and has anyone here have the ability to machine up a full set of steel main bearing caps? I think some nice fat ones should ensure block integrity with high boost, high HP and high RPM insight for a few people on this forum. I guess if we go that far a stud girdle would...

Any vids or audio of the Turbonetics Celica or Blast Racings Soarer?

In Aus, we have a magazine that has DVD's of cars in Japan, and in Volume 2 and 5 the Blast Racing soarer is running against the HKS supra, they both run 7's. But gee the Soarer sounds A LOT angrier then the Supra. You maybe able to buy a DVD from here but remember here in Aus we have PAL, not...

    Forged Pistons Status

I'll build an engine with my forgies once I blow up my "standard" engine (ARP studs, MLS gaskets and ACL rings and bearings). Hopefully I will achieve 500rwhp with the 1st engine, not really bothered if this is on pump fuel or race fuel. Once I do that or the engine goes "bang" I will start my...

    Aussies and 1UZ

Very cheap...When you consider you would have to throw out all recipricating parts in standard Chev/Ford to make the power some of the engines have made with all or most factory internals in place. Also coz it was a DOHC V8 that hardly anyone(even SOME Toyota/Lexus dealers) don't know about!

    Cant get my pistons home

I got 'em today...thanks Dave that fax was priceless! :)

    2007 Supra, Possible 350HP V8

There has been a Toyota getting thrown around at Nuremburgring (spelling), and most spies rekon the engine sounds similar to a V10
