i just tried to runa diad by bridging the te1 and e1. i managed to pull the gearbox code no problems... the check engine light just has a constant flash... does that mean there is no code to pull? was driving around today and the engine decided to start missfiring.. it seems to be only one...

rang nearly every reputable wrecker in melbourne... really hard to find.... will spend today trying again before settling on a overseas purchase.

1990 LS400 - Front Passanger Side headlight hi im after a front Passanger side headlight for a 1990 ls400 had a little prang with the worst of road hazzards... the grandma driver... also if anyone has a grill and bonnet latch that they what to dispose of let me know to.

both lighters run of the same fuse

its may be something simple.. Break pads... i had the exact same issue... and yes thought it must of been a awheel bearing... if you pull the wheel off and check out your breaks alot of break pads have a steel clip (warning clip) that scapes close to the center of the rotor.... doesnt damage...

is there any increase in power running off a base map with out airflow meter... is it even driveable... ? does it use conciderable more fuel....

unpluggin the battey generally removes any electrical faults... they will come back though once you reconnect it..... just kiddin i knew what you ment... yeah a reset is good to do in most situations.. just for reassurance thats its not just a once off

had the same issue for ages with the traction control light staying on... topped up the break fluid and fixed it... did another test when changing it.. emptied a fair bit out... took it for a short drive and within a few kms the light came back on...

not sure what are your drving but ls400 fuse's are found under the dash just above you accel/break ect... mine always goes when using gps for some reson...

also having little idea when it comes to gear box's let alone conversions i thought id bump this old thread instead of starting a new... im after some pics of a manual conversion done to the LS400... specifically the 1990 model... just want to see how it all fits together.. ie clutch...

did that last night. definatly coming from the gearbox area....... its as if it isnt slowly engaging the gear... once in its fine.. shifts are fine....
