Any impact on performance? I'm thinking that is what i'll do, if the secondary o2 sensors are largely useless anyway. Getting it tuned could always fix any problems caused i guess.

doubt you will gain much. I've just removed my throttle body, however mine has twin butterfly valves which don't appear to be on the 90-91 models, one which appears to be stuck open and the other which is closed. Throttle body is very dirty. Not sure on the difference between 90-91 and 92-93...

I have a question regarding this. If you were to gut or remove the cats, would that not mess around with your secondary O2 sensors and change the way the ECU manages the engine? or does the ECU learn and adjust the A/F ratio accordingly?
