Parts SS 304 Stainless flanges for 1,2,3uz

They are pretty much gasket matched. I opted on the smaller 1.625 size, as most builders will want to port match their manifolds to the heads. It's far easier to grind away some material than add it back in. -B

Parts SS 304 Stainless flanges for 1,2,3uz

I hit minimum order again at the water jet and had to get 3 sets of flanges. I'm keeping one set for my turbo setup. The other two pair need homes. Centers holes are 1.625". Otherwise, they are 3/8" SS304 materials. Flanges are 80.00 each shipped to the US. I will sell them only...

    New Intake Plenum

It'd work on a 2gen 1uz or 3uz (vvt-I engine). The biggest difference between those and the 2uz is the air assist injectors. Good looking work. Is this for a turbo/forced induction application? The biggest advantage to the stock intake is the long runners. -B

    1uz sleeves

I'm not sure yet. There's quite a bit of strength built into the block around the water jackets. I suspect I'm going to have to have someone do some engineering on the block to see where they feel the side load is on the motor. I mean, I can see doing a 100mm bore pretty easily if you...

    1uz sleeves

Hey guys, I'm in the process of trying to figure out how large of a sleeve I can shove in my spare 98+ 1uz engine. I was correct when I thought the 1uz sleeves were simply interferance fit. At approx 300 degrees, the sleeves essentially fell out of the engine. Actual sleeve...

    Cylinder sleeves

One can get 14,000 to 20,000 RPM out of a whipplecharger. Their 5.0l displacement supercharger can spin 16,000rpm. With VVT-I, one could really custom taylor a torque curve that looks more like a table than a curve.

    1UZFE/2UZFE into a 2nd Gen 4Runner (U.S.)

That is correct. These are SS autochrome. I'm pretty sure my site documentation on the v8 swap shows a pic of what I had to do to modify them. -B

    1UZFE/2UZFE into a 2nd Gen 4Runner (U.S.)

The tundra 2uz headers do fit the 1uz head. (at least the 98 and newer) I'm pretty sure the earlier exhaust ports were the same also. They did not fit my chassis though. -B

    Parts stainless 1uz/2/3uz Exhuast flanges

I had them made larger so that I could slip the tube into the flange. I was planning on using 1.625id tubing. If I'm not mistaken, it was nearly a perfect fit for the exhaust port. -B

    4.3 or 4.7 motor into mk3 supra.

Sean, Personally, I would find the 98-00 1uz VVT-I engine. You get the better head design and don't have to pay for the premium of the 3uz engine. I think you need to consider future power output when selecting the engine also. 2uz is cast iron 2 bolt main while the 1uz and 3uz are...

    Parts stainless 1uz/2/3uz Exhuast flanges

Oh, and if anyone thinks I copied the 1uz flange CAD file, I've had these flanges in my hands since January.

    Parts stainless 1uz/2/3uz Exhuast flanges

mmmm I dunno. I'm pretty well set up at this point. The parts I need are generally worth far more than these are worth. (twin screw blower that will support 450hp) PM me if you have a web site or something that I could 'browse'. I might be impulsive. -B

    Parts stainless 1uz/2/3uz Exhuast flanges

Since I ended up using the SS autoworks flanges from the Tundra headers I purcahsed, I have one spare set of exhaust flanges. Water jet cut, 3/8" thick 304 stainless. Exhaust holes measure 1.74 Asking 65.00 each for them plus shipping.

1UZ say Hi from Bangkok (dyno test)

Ya, I had pretty much guessed that at this point. However, I just like to see what else people have come up with. Every now & then, someone REALLY surprises me with a creative solution. From what I can see in the pics, this car has that potential. Is it safe to presume that I can...

    V8 IS300 swap

I understand, yellow is a love/hate thing. I really wanted a graphite color car for my daily driver and do the MR2 yellow. I just couldn't paint a yellow car grey. I may do my MR2 grey. :) Sounds like you've started your homework. Get the motor physically mounted and then go shopping...

1UZ say Hi from Bangkok (dyno test)

If you could, that would be most helpful. I have a V6 MR2 that I'm building later this year and the engine choice will be determined by my ability to control VVTi with a stand alone. Of course, the v8 info would be cool also, as my 1uz lexus will get built and a reasonably large turbo in...

    V8 IS300 swap

I may do a header kit sometime in the future, also I might look into a wiring kit. The PS lines and AC lines will be very difficult for me to do as I really don't have an easily available supply of hose ends to make it all work. Most salvage yards around here cut the engines out and leave...

1UZ say Hi from Bangkok (dyno test)

Very nice! What transmission is mated up to it? Is the haltec controlling the VVTi? IF so, care to share how it was done? -B

Interest In Aftermarket Intake w/ horsepower gains

I am... I picked up 14hp at the wheels just a few days ago by changing a 6" long piece of tubing in my intake. (A very disappointing 257rwhp if you are wondering) If Toyota engineers only needed 200hp, why would they keep spending money looking for more? While I do see your point, I suspect...
