    LX torana Hatchback

Sorry but this is just biased and incorrect. I do Kalmaker and have never had a problem with it. In NSW, at least, if the Rego man sees an aftermarket ECU you can get a canary instantly. I have seen this happen to MoTecs, Links, Wolfs, Autronics. I have never seen or heard of anyone copping a...

    Learning About Australia

A grown Roo can kill a human up to the size of a normal teenager by "boxing" it. They'll lean back on their tail and rip your stomach open with their hind feet while clawing at your face with their "hands". I have quite a few on my 100 acres (40 hectares) and have seen a few fight to the death...

    LX torana Hatchback

For a (relatively) cheap and incredibly reliable ECU conversion go Delco with Kalmaker.Check out the Kalmaker website for details. I know there are a few UZFEs around with variations of this conversion and make good power. The Kalmaker business owners own conversion (waiting for an update but...

    BJ70 to Lex Conversion

Use an air tank to store the compressed air, have the pressure switch mounted on it and wired back to the compressor via a toggle/on-off switch and a relay (wired similar to driving lights off high beam). This will keep a store of air available and your compressor wont have to work half as much...

    75 Cruiser

Just looking at the pics of how you have mounted your fuel pump etc. When I did my Holden V8 conversion I looked into all that type of thing and found 1) I did not need a primary fuel pump or surge tank at all (and my V8 is 5.7 litre HSV number) Even on full power runs, and yes I do do the...

    BJ70 to Lex Conversion

No the previous engine is straight up and down it it the g/box that is on an angle. The issue is that they haven't taken into account the original bolt placing and how the g/box sits in relations to the engine. I wouldn't even contemplate chaning the angle of the g/box as Toyota spent millions...

    BJ70 to Lex Conversion

With any bolt regardless of the size they must go in AT LEAST the same length of thread as the bolt is thick. SO if the bolt is 10mm thick the thread MUST go in at least 10mm.

Dual Fueling a 1UZFE with LPG

Sorry to disagree but a few points to calirify. This issue is a setup problem. I run a GasResearch system and there is NO noticable diffence in low down Torque at all and I live on the western side of the Great Divide tow a horse float and a caravan regularly. If you use a standard IMPCO or OHG...

I have a 75 series Troopie that I would like to take the Holden v8 out of and fit a UZFE. I knew Castlemaine did an adapter bell housing but I didn't know Dellow did one, what about engine mounts did you have to make your own or are they in kits as well. I was about to fit an AdapTronic ECU to...

V8 into 75 series Troopy (Aus)

Thanks, How does yours go in the Rangie? Is there much of a difference in P/W ratio? Also the Rangie V8 is quite small physically compared to say a Holden/Chev/Ford V8 did you have much difficulty with room in the engine bay? Sorry bout all these questions, I think more up whenever I get...

V8 into 75 series Troopy (Aus)

Thanks for that. As far as the ECU goes I will be using a 808 Delco unit with Kalmaker software. After looking at the Lextreme website that this forum is from I found a page for adapting the T700R4 as well. What about sump clearance, is anyone aware of any issues with the sump and the front...

V8 into 75 series Troopy (Aus)

Only just found this place after looking for into on putting the V8 Lexus into my 75 series Troopy. It already has a Holden V8 but I want that engine for another project (a Holden) so I still want a V8 engine and power but figure it is time to check out the V8 Lexus/Toyota. So has anyone else...
