Standalone ECU Best ECU for me? (turbo 1uz, factory auto)

So, it's possible to use the V500 to keep the standard ECU for controlling the auto, but use the V500 to control the engine in 'standalone' mode?

    Whipple 2.3L or 2.9L in 93' SC400 (140AX / 175AX)

To put it simply, if you're going to go low boost, the Eaton seems to be more efficient. For higher boost levels, the Whipple is more efficient.

How much hp on std 1uz-fe 4,0L?

If you want it to be reliable over 400HP, change the pistons. They tend to do a ring as the clearances are very tight (designed for fuel economy - the 'FE' in the engine designation).

Sounds like a really good solution for the cramped Soarer/SC400 engine bays, as you can mount them in virtually any position since you don't need to gravity drain the oil lines.

How much hp on std 1uz-fe 4,0L?

    Oilless Turbos

Yeah, I've been looking at Comp Turbos. How do they compare to your normal oil-fed turbo (comparing like for like housings, turbines etc.) in terms of reliability, spool speed, flow and power output?

    Oilless Turbos
