info request; doing my homework on mkii swap

Actually the reason for pushing the motor 2" forward is for the sump to clear the crossmember. If you want the gearbox to sit in the stock position then you'll NEED a custom sump (or heavily modded stock one). I don't believe there would be issues with the brake booster or tunnel, but as its...

    AC in a 1UZ-FE MKIII MA70 Supra

From memory I had the connectors on one the stock lines changed to suit the 1UZ compressor, however the other line bolted on with just some light bending.

    Hydraulic Pump removal

Fit an LS400/UZS131 idler bracket and pulley. Or take to the hydro pump with an angle grinder, cut the pump/pulley off and weld on a blanking plate.

Parts Tuned Delco ECU for 1UZ-FE

Up for sale is the tuned ECU from Petes old 1UZ MA70 Supra. Pulled 150rwkw a few years back, and held the title for Toymods most powered NA RWD for quite some time. Loom has been rebuilt and the 'birds nest' removed (for those who remember it). Comes with ECU including chip tuned by...

Reincarnation: 1uzfe reanimates 4runner with impending flatline

I never a good idea to run without a thermostat. It increases wear on the motor and uses extra fuel. Set it up so that it runs normal in summer and it will be fine in winter, the thermostat will take care of that.

    Running bad when cold

I'm surprised the ECU didn't throw a code. Unless it only throws a code when one of the cams is out, and not the crank.

The thermostat opens around 82degC, so the motor should be around 85-88degC under normal conditions. My fan switches are usually set to 95degC

Free Auto box pick up only

They are only worth something when someone wants one, which unfortunately isn't very often. I see people on eBay and the like trying to sell them for $400+ I've had a few over the years, gave most away.

    Seller Feedback Richwood Technology

I've had a similar experience to hypronet, 90% of what I ordered was delivered in quick time, the next 5% took a few months of emails to get, the last 5% never received. I ended up going down a different path, so I just cut my losses and moved on.

    Idle air control unit

Nah, the later non-vvti's. They look very similar, but are 2 piece instead of 3 piece, and a little bit larger. The early ones should be the same as 7mge, never personally compared though.

    MY 1uzfe ITB's result

Different brands of dyno do calculate tq differently, especially comparing US ones to Aus ones. Not sure why, but even stock for stock US and Aus can read a good 10% differently. Also to get the tq spot on the operator needs to make sure that the dyno speed is identical to the tyre speed...
