serpentine belt size for v8 without aircon

You won't need a pulley if the ONLY thing you've removed is the aircon. If you've removed anything else you'll need to something.

afm part number different 1 didgit

Have you confirmed continuity of all wires from the AFM plug to the ECU plugs? I've also heard from some people that the pins can come out when you plug it into the AFM

    ucf10 wont start

I recently had this issue, and eventually found a blown fuse for the START circuit above the drivers feet. May not be the same for you. This was the cranking issue. For the starting issue it may be fouled plugs, but I'd start by checking for spark, fuel, etc.

    Thats not actually the case gloverman. The last digit has traditionally indicated either a body type, or a suspension type. UCF10 - springs/shocks UCF11 - airbags UZZ30 - springs/shocks UZZ31 - airbags UZZ32 - active MZ20 - springs/shocks MZ21 - airbags MX73 - sedan/IRS MX72 -...

bwt, I haven't spoken to Grant in years. I bought the car off a guy in QLD, who probably bought it off someone who bought it off Grant. So its changed a few hands since then!

Yeah, totally understand you need to be guarded. Its just a bit late to fit any magical boxes :p I need to find a friend with a UZS131 and do some diagnostics with a CRO.

afm part number different 1 didgit

Unlikely to be an issue if it all looks the same. A lot of the time if its just the last digit thats different, then its probably a mounting point that has changed. I know the Soarer and the Celsior AFM's differ in how they bolt to the air filter housing. One of them has studs screwed in...

    Wanted 1uz manifold

I'm not aware of any CAD file for a replacement manifold. The people who aren't running either the richwood or the bullet, normally get the welder out themselves and cut a standard lower manifold up. Like this

Have you got all the plugs for the ECU? One of the plugs is part of the body loom, and so doesn't normally come with the engine harness.

Sideshow, You may be able to help with this. I've put a UZS131 motor and gearbox into my GS130 Crown wagon (its the old Sixworks wagon which had a 1GGZE). I'm having trouble getting the ECT ECU to recognise the rear tranny speed sensor, to stop it throwing a code. Now the stock setup...

    Wiring pinouts for UZS131.....?

Reuploaded the diagrams to this post, hopefully it works :)

The UZS131 Crown ran a dual stage muffler (exactly like the new Varex ones) Under most conditions the muffler was quiet, but under WOT the muffler opened up and got a bit noisier. Thats what those 2 pins are for, controlling the exhaust controller. Completely unneeded in a conversion. The...

You can buy them from www.bulletcars.com.au with a top plate to suit most superchargers.

    clutch slave

FYI - turning the tailshaft with your hand is not a good enough test. I did this when I fit my first clutch years ago. Had a friend sitting in the car, and I adjusted the rod (it was an adjustable one) so that when he put his foot on the clutch, I could move the tailshaft. I lowered the...

    Thermo fans not running

LS400's don't run a hydro fan, instead they have a viscous coupling fan (like the UZS131 Crown) and a pair of thermo's. As others have stated, the thermo's are normally hooked up to an over-pressure switch in the aircon circuit. When you turn the aircon on (whilst there is no airflow), the...

Wanted UZS131/LS400 Fan Idler bracket and pulley

I ended up using the LS430 idler, worked a treat.

    Trust/Greddy 3uzfe supercharger kit.

The same thing went through my head. If it does bolt to one of the heads, then wtf bolts to the other head? Then I thought maybe it just bolts to the lower half of the standard manifold, but thats purely for the ACIS function, so that wouldn't work either.
