    T56 billet bellhousing

Lex: When it comes to flywheels you can use anything you want. The choice of flywheel is dictated by the pressure plate you plan to run, not by the type of input spline the gearbox have. When you have decided on the clutch cover, you start worrying about what clutch plate you will use. It is...

    T56 billet bellhousing

Lex: Yup, you might need a stronger gearbox.....:) Joke aside, I'm working with a company in the US about this bell housing, if everything goes as it should they will be carrying the bell housing as one of they're regular products. Since this bell housing is meant for the Chevy gearbox you...

    T56 billet bellhousing

This bell housing is for the shortest input shaft ( the Chevy LT1/LSx ).

    T56 billet bellhousing

cribbj: Honestly, no. There are several reasons: - The Supra 6 speed has an integrated bell housing, this makes it "interesting" to make the 2 adapter plates needed. In order to make certain the gearbox is aligned you have to mill the plates as the input bearing on gearboxes will not last...

    T56 billet bellhousing

Tremec T56 custom billet bellhousing I'm working on a custom billet aluminium bell housing to fit the Tremec T56/TR6060 behind a 1UZFE engine. The Tremec T56/TR6060 has a real short input shaft so the normal stock auto bell housing and adapter plate solution will not work, the stock...

    Finally Flywheel info

And a picture of what I call a "universal" flywheel for the 1UZFE engine. The weight can be adjusted from 6.5 kgs to 11 kgs and it have 3 different 241 mm ( 9.5" ) bolt patterns, BMW , European Ford V6 + Cosworth and Sachs racing. More can be added. You have to use the auto flex plate starter...

    Finally Flywheel info

I was not at home when I posted the first measurements, they were from memory and were correct, it's good to see I'm not gone completely senile.... Anyway, a few more: - Center hole ( to steer towards crankshaft ): 42.02 mm - Starter ring placement: 14.0 mm up from the crankshaft plane and...

    Finally Flywheel info

toy4whatever: Good, a few numbers for you then. The bolt pattern ( PCB ) is 80.0 mm and there is 8 pcs M10 bolts so use a 10.1 mm hole in the flywheel. Let the flywheel be 10.0 mm thick under the flywheel bolts, then you can use ARP 203-2802 flywheel bolts.

    Finally Flywheel info

toy4whatever: A few reasons to use a billet steel flywheel. First of all, you can get it made to your specifications ( as an example the bolt holes will be in the correct place and they will be 10.1mm big. Any bigger than this and you have a fair chance of the flywheel start working itself...

    M112 and chargecoolers

There is a solution to reduce the height of the supercharger assembly, but it involves some fairly serious remodeling on the front of the engine. Basically, you remove the front water bridge and termostat housing and replace the front water bridge with 2 small adaptors where it's bolted to the...

    1UZFE custom intake flanges

Just a quick status report on the intakes. I have managed to get hold a new enough version of EdgeCAM to open and work with SolidWorks 2007 files. I've installed it at my machinist computers and he is working on the drawings at the moment. A prototype will be fourthcoming.

Could someone take a measurement for me?

If I have measured correctly it is 4 mm, measured this when I started to mess around with a custom flywheel.

    1UZFE custom intake flanges

Guys, no need to get excited :) I had a crack at converting the universal file to Gcode using MeshCAM and that didn't go to well, the computer I tried to run it on "crashed and burned"... The problem when converting something into nc code is you do not know what machine it will be made on +...

    LS470

To avoid confusion, I did not express myself good enough, and a picture is better than a thousand words. This is the bolt pattern on the 1UZFE blocks, what is the measurements on the 2UZFE, height and width ?

    LS470

Some questions about the 1.5UZFE engine mounts, it looks like the width ( 105 mm ) is the same on the 1UZFE and the 2UZFE mounts, how much does the height differs between the lower and the upper bolts on the 1UZFE ( 60 mm ) and the 2UZFE ? Is the placement of the 2 upper bolts on the block the...

    1UZFE custom intake flanges

Ok, I have had a lot of feedback regarding the universal flange and the intakes. I have incorporated a lot of the updates + request to this edition, that I hope is the last. People have asked for: - An intake flange that turn the port "up" so the top end is horizontal. This is no problem to...

    1UZFE into Ford Sierra XR4x4

Cobber: Was it a Lotus 7 replica ? If it was, it might have been a Dax Rush Quadra as they are meant for the 2.0 Cosworth engine and 4x4 running gear. Drives like a go-cart, crazy 0-100 MPH-0 performance, heaps of fun and of course, impossible to get road worthy in Norway.....
