steering problems with new rims and tires

Yeah I have 18 x 9's on the back with 265/35/18's which are Michelin Pilot Sports with 18 x 8's on the front with 235/40/18 Ventus 104's on them and I have no tramming problems , with a 285 on the back it should be no more than a 35 ratio and 30 would be even better . Personally I think 285 is...

A 7 litre twin turbo with 552 Kw and 949Nm weighing 1338 kg against the GT with a supercharged 5.4 litre with 410 Kw and 678 Nm weighing 1580 Kg . In a 40 Km/h roll on...

could someone please help me get the door trim off? :(

I'm pretty sure there's a tiny phillips screw that you take out of the inside door handle tray type panel and then you just pull the door opener all the way back so that you can get the inner door handle panel off and then the door panel itself will come off over that with the inside door handle...

could someone please help me get the door trim off? :(

There are two screws that need to be undone to get the arm rest off , one you can see from underneath the arm rest itself , the other is accessable through the switch panel .

    Radiator Upgrade

Actually I prefer them alloy colour for looks , but black is more efficient at transfering the air effect and plain alloy will corrode . That's why all the car manufacturers paint their radiators black , not because they look cosmetically better , black radiates heat better !! You don't have to...

    Radiator Upgrade

You should paint it black whem you get it , it will work better and last longer as it won't corrode , I always have a chuckle when I see these guys driving around with a big fat intercooler stuck out the front not painted black !!

    Suspension Interchangability

You need to find out exactly what is at fault . It may well be your pump is gone/not working ? Then if your pump is ok try and find out which or how many of your units are leaking . For a start check that the suspension is actually turned on , the switch is in the boot on the left hand side in...

    Suspension Interchangability

If you are towing how nice would it be to always have the car level ? And how nice to be able to hit a switch and raise it up or stiffen it up ? I had 4 big fat adults in mine the other day and before I left the driveway the car was perfectly level , was going down the freeway so had the TEMS...

    Suspension Interchangability

Yes LS400 springs and shocks will bolt straight in , but why would you ? Air shocks are cheap when you consider they last about 15 years !! What standard shock can do that ? The air system not only works better but it gives you adjustability height wise and stiffness also which really does make...

    Celsior remote fuel door problem

Do you know if the solenoid is actually trying to work ? If you look at the nylon actuator you might find it has a little step on it which is stopping it from releasing , sand or file this off and use some silicon on it to keep it lubed and it will work fine .

    Changing out the DRIVESHAFT?

Jibby I had a chat to the guy in the unit next door who currently runs one of the cars in the SuperCar support series and who was in the main game for over 10 years , read the guy knows whats what !! The Supercar boys WILL NOT run alloy driveshafts as if you make them with a class of alloy and...

    Changing out the DRIVESHAFT?

I don't want to be a wet blanket but consider very carefully before going to an alloy driveshaft , consider the gains that can be made over the destruction if one lets go , is it worth it ? I myself like trick stuff even when it's just for the fact of it , but these are after all street cars . I...

Another pewrson from Aus seeking help with the standard radio in a Celsior/ls400.

No it's not compatible with the original stacker and has no need to be , with MP3 format you can get arond 200 songs on the one disc so with that being more than the stacker cpould give you why bother ? I got an on special Pioneer head unit from AutoBarn that normally retails for $500.00 for...

Another pewrson from Aus seeking help with the standard radio in a Celsior/ls400.

Hi Dan , you might not want to hear this but the best way to go is to replace the front radio unit , I never had mine working when I got the car and I just went and put a Pioneer MP3 player in it with a nice toyota draw/extra cup holder to fill up the double din space , anyhow a mate of mine...

    Help !!

Went outside this morning to find the front of my Celsior on the deck , initially thought " oh finally have a leak in one of my airbags " It turns out both sides on the front have dropped , I find it extremly unlikely that the left and right front bags developed a leak at the same time overnight...

I have been searching for a set of headers for my Celsior , with the thoughtin mind that headers will be the single biggest mod to my engine , basically stock otherwise .
