I have a front sump setup (like LS400) that I'd like to trade for a rear sump setup from a SC400. Would need the aluminum ring, steel lower pan, pickup pipe, and dipstick. USA only.

Same as yours except a 93. My design will be similar to yours, except I may shorten up the primaries since my motor will be lower.

So if I add an integral block girdle into the pan design along with the tie in to the bellhousing, I "should" be OK? Seems that the tiny bolts used on the AL part of the pan where it connects to the block wouldn't provide enough strength for sufficient torque to make it a viable block...

Aside from the obvious bellhousing attachment points... I'm thinking a whole fabricated one piece oil pan might be a better option to maximize my oil capacity while working around the IFS and front diff. Thoughts?

Just realized that my PCV grommet that was in the valve cover is destroyed, so I need another one. I have a new valve, but no grommet - anyone have a part number?
