thanks. Did you buy online or at a local auto parts store? I see it on Ebay but nowhere else. Also, I think your supposed to pull a vacuum on the system first and I dont have that equipment. Did you just fill with the Freeze-12 then?

maybe they passed a law or something. Even at Autozone I can find anything like a conversion kit.

Ive looked online and cant find anything that is a DIY conversion. Maybe becuase your supposed to collect the R12 and not vent it.

sorry mean 134a. The 90-92 all were R12. THere is a service bulletin to convert the R12s over to 134a. So I was wondering whether it would be better to pay for the conversion or pay the high cost of a r12 recharge.

I guess Im a dunce. The lights on the front sides are called parking lights per the manual for LS400 1990. I cannot get them to turn on. How are these controlled? Do these automatically turn on when the car is stopped or moving slow? thanks for any help
