for sale, brand new genuine toyota bellhousing and torque conver to suit 1/2uz to A44* auto's, so if you want to put a 2uz or 1uz into an 80 series these are the parts you'll need, never used and have a 20,000k warrenty from toyota with them.
from a project i never started so never used them...
you could plumb into the timing cover a pressurized air system that would go a long way to water proofing the motor, ive had mine pretty deep in my last car and this was meant to go on next but it fell over onto it's roof :mad:
im going to use an hi flow low pressure air pump in the new...

putting an A440F auto and transferr out of an 80 series behind the 1uz turning an GQ front diff and an 80 rear.
it's a winch challange truck so i dot want to stuff around fixing rover stuff
im looking into the same setup atm, but im staying auto so, would the 1uz auto on a surf transferr box be strong enough for a 2ton rover?
second to that would the bell housing off a 2uz bolt up to the a440f

looking for an easy way out, who has mated a 1uz to a rover 4sp auto (zf),
i have the motor and will soon find a rangie with the plan of swapping out the rover junk but hoping someone can shed some light on the adapter

i had mine running thur the standard 3f snorkel/airbox on the middy for ages(was losing 30 odd hp) but going to the 4" s/s with rubber bends.
and it is the air box causing the loss which will be changes as well, i was told to put in a gen3 air box in then make an adaptor to the snorkel and...
no it's pretty much touching, i havnt asked on outers, but i did get this motor from scotty mcgill there. but he had it 3 maybe 4" further forward so thats out, i can remake the engine mounts over a bit more but was trying to avoid that.
moving the pump would have been easyier, i'll just stop...
