Im just looking at a v8 engine swap into a toyota truck. I have seen the web pages from dellows or crs that will alow you to swap a 1uzfe to a ford or chevy manual trans. Since their are so many older ford mustangs in the junk yards a t5 would be easy to get and cheap. Bob

It looks like everyone is trying to use a 154 tranny out of a Tubro Supra. Since a different bellhousing has to be used, how well would a T5 trans out of a Mustang work? I was thinking that since it would be out of a 302 V8 it should hold up ok. If it isnt strong enought should it be upgraded...
