What to do with Celsior 91 suspension.

Oh, I agree, the air system is very trick and as long as you don't over stress it by running high all the time it will last well. My worry is, at $2k for 4 bags, plus a couple of hundred $ for international shipping, I might get busted for uk customs duty and sales tax which would add roughly...

What to do with Celsior 91 suspension.

Thanks, yeah, importing wouldn't be a problem. I've bought from Takakaira in Japan, an Ebayer in Malaysia, and another in HK for various bits I've needed for my old GT4/All-Trac and now for the Celsior.

What to do with Celsior 91 suspension.

Unfortunatley, weeks on, I'm no closer.:damnit: Nobody stocks decent coilovers in the UK for the LS/Celsior. Arnotts are the cheapest for bags (anyone know a way of testing the pump etc so I don't waste time and money on airbags), or about £1000gbp+shipping on Jic coilovers. And we get the...

Seriously, the beer trick works. I was driving so it was a bottle of alcohol free, so no great loss if it spilled, at a local import night at a pub near me. One of the guys I know remembered it from the launch days, and suggested we tried it. It didn't even froth the beer. Smoother than a mink...

What to do with Celsior 91 suspension.

It will be a daily driver, for fast roading, not trackdays. I like a little comfort though. What made me think about the Airbags is that my boss uses his wife's RX300 to tow the trailer at work (the DB9 is saved having a hitch fitted). The air suspension feels so solid, and even yet comfy at the...

What to do with Celsior 91 suspension.

OK, I have a 91 Celsior. I bought it for bargain bucket money, so the minor flaws and lack of history aren't a problem. I can either drive it into the ground and lose nothing, or have fun now, spend money when needed and fix it up. It is a UCF11, but the airshocks have been replaced with fixed...

It isn't that bad. For £800GBP any Mercedes I bought would have been rotten, asthmatic and barely moving, a BMW would have been boy racered to hell, and any ford/vauxhall/citroen/puegoet etc would be a pile of rusty flakes with no MOT and a small 4 cylinder engine. At least with this, I can...

    Newb checking to say Hi.

to be honest it is probably closer to 112k as I think it is about 180k kilometers on the clock. The 6 CD changer still works great. I know I should get the cam belt changed at that mileage as the car has absolutley zero history. Are there any visible signs of cambelt wear? Biggest issue is...

    Newb checking to say Hi.

Had a 1991 celsior with about 100k miles, in the UK, for a couple of months now. Nice car, but the air struts have been swapped for shocks/springs which cause a lot of dive. Also, there is a rip in the drivers seat that needs repair and the aircon is out of gas. Other than that, a great car...
