So heres what im thinkin.I can only find one company that has this sprag and they wont sell the part over the counter they will only install it.Im havin a hard time belevin they make this one off sprag im thinkin they take it from another application.I bet it comes from one of the truck or suv...

Hey guys been a long time.Im lookin for a better 3rd gear sprag for my 98 GS400.Any ideas where I can find one?My front main seal is leaking so im pullin the trans and I already have a VB upgrade and would like to replace this sprag before it becomes an issue.The only company I know of (SRT)...

Thanks for the info.I dont mind the hard shift I just needed to know it was normal.If im in the throttle when it shifts it feels great but if I let off right before the shift it is very hard.Does this sound like yours?

I recently did the valvebody upgrae on my GS4 and have an is this normal question.I understand the increase in line pressure and the hard engage from P to D but my question is on the shift my 2-3 shift is very hard.I mean really really hard.Ive been told this is norm. but sometimes it shift soft...

Id take the Z06 w/o a doubt.This is a real muscle car not a nancy tuned euro car.

TRD.Its pretty quiet.It kind of kicks when shifting into second but I suspect the Valve body upgrade is the culprit.

I finally had a chance to road test her this weekend and shes a monster.Gears and carrier are a great combo couldnt be happier.Thanks for all the insight.

This sounds similiar to what im doing if it is heres what ive found.I put 93-97 supra tt gears (3:73) in my 98gs4 diff.When I was researching I was told a 93-97 non turbo supra diff. had 4:27 gears.Is a gear swap poss. or a non turbo diff?

Any opinion on the TRD?

I was going to do that but thats a hard diff. to find and I wanted the lsd so I put one together.Should have it in by the end of the day.

Just finished it so YES it works.
