The motor is from an LS400. I'm fitting it into a FJ40 Landcruiser and I'll be using thermo fans so I have no use for the hydraulic fan. Cheers, Chris.

Hi everyone, I am sorting out the wiring before installing my 1UZ into the car and I came accross this thing (see pics). I have no idea what it is and it's not on the wiring diagram. It looks like some sort of solenoid maybe? It has 2 wires - BLACK and BLUE/YELLOW. Anyone got any ideas?

Yeah, very nice write up. I wonder how the guy at the exhaust shop will react when I ask him to read this before he recommends me a system....

That's a pretty hard deal. I'll see if I can find someone who is chasing a front sump and is willing to do a clean swap. If I can't I'll get back to you. Thanks.
