    That requires a complete stand alone to be able to tune it... With the work involved and the money... its still better the ls1. The ls1 is cheaper.. its smaller in overall size and i think its even lighter than the uzfe. mod for mod the ls1 will beat the uzfe... Both at 5psi.. both with head...

    need help with pinging

    One other thing.. how are you detecting this pinging? audible?? there is a TSB for these engines for the front main bearing. The bearing will cause a "pinging" sound not related to pinging. They stated that the front bearing was .010 to thin i think.. got to look that up.

    does anyone know the sygnal of the CKP? one could install a GM ls1 pcm onto this car... don't think it should be that difficult.. it will control just about anything there is.

    anyone tried to fit a GM ecu or even tranny on this engine? If you have a CKP signal you could install an LS1 pcm which is fully editable... still have all necessary things for check engine and diagnostics and such and you "could" make the stock tranny work if it has the same way of activating...
