could i use a stand alone system and do away with them and use coil packs

what are the distributors like are they like normal cars as in rotor and cap as you can guess havent got the motor yet

hi thinking of using a 1uz v8 in my buggy.was wondering how water proof these engines are,i see they have covers on the dissys do these keep out the water if in deep water are there any other places that let then down,i know the ecu will have to be up high cheers gary

hi want to fit a 400 v8 in an off road comp rig,which car is the best to use for the engine ie most hp.is there anything to look out for ie some arent as good as others.would like to make 350hp out of it at some point how easy is this.cheers gary
