Do the 1uzfe 4.0l and the 4.7l variant share the same exhaust manifold bolt pattern? I,e will headers to suit a 4.7l bolt up to a 4.0l. Thanks for the help.

I have a m90 on a manifold i made myself using the lower half of the oem manifold in a hilux. my query is: is the by pass valve used to lower boost to the engine at low engine speeds or to limit the maximum amount of boost availiable to the engine? I was considering blanking it off altogether...

Hi, i am putting m90 on 1uz in 02 hilux 2wd. Can i drive it off the existing serpentine belt or would i need to mount the blower further forward and make a new pulley to go on the crank? Appreciate any advice, Thanks Doon.

thanks for that. was the fan hydraulicly driven? in a remote location?. or is the pump to lube/cool an elec mtr. i have removed the pump off the casting & will blank all the holes and just run the idler. any idea on what belt will run this set up (no a/c or fan pully)

a couple of other things, what's the purpose of driving the fan hydraulicly? how does it work? also the pully on my one has no mounting points for a fan assembly. by the look of it i may still have to have the pump mounted in order to use the idler. rgds doon

i have what appears to be an externally driven & piped oil pump driven by the acc belt. on photo's of other 1uz's i have seen there is a fan bolted to the pully in this location. can any one tell me what this pump is for? thanks doon.
