The vacuum reading is from the map sensor... In absolute pressure. I don't really understand it though to be honest.

Checked rpm and vacuum: At 100km/hr I'm at 2600rpm Vacuum at 100km/hr is 3.8-4.

The sensor is very close to the tb. The rpm at 100km/h is around 2650-2700rpm. I will have to check what vacuum im running at 100km/h. I did just recently change my whole intake system. it originally had 4 really tight bends and run around the back of the motor to my air box and out to...

    Spitronic maps

im using castlemain rod shop exhaust manifolds. block huggers. that run to a 3in exhaust. intake temps are around 25degs if i remember correctly. unless the day is hot the temps normally dont get much higher than that from what ive seen. My sensor is located just after the air filter on the...

hey guys, checked timing. i was running 23deg at cruising and light throttle and then 17-19deg at full throttle. I have now changed it to run 37-38 at cruising and light loads and kept it the same for wot. not using any equipment to for det. what i was doing was if i heard it...

Thanks for the info Glover man. As it's just been tuned on the street I have focused more on setting it up not to detonate on full load. I have not payed to much attention to my cruising or light throttle timing figures. I will see what I'm getting and up it to the numbers u said and see how it...

Hey guyes, What kind of timing is everyone running? I'm set my air/fuel ratios to what I believe is good and safe (15 cruising, 12 on acceleration and around 13.5-14 on idle) The truck runs really good and good power and imo runs better than it did with the stock ecu, but my fuel...

    flipping the intake manifold

Hey zuffen, fyi this is how my motor in a toyota surf has been for the last 8yrs I'm gonna transfer snorkel air box etc to drivers side and relocate the fuse box. Cheers

    flipping the intake manifold

Cheers rod for all the info. This is exactly what I'm tossing up atm. Running new intake isn't an issue. As mine is in a surf... The fuse box is in the way and the snorkel is on the passenger side. I think it will still be easier to relocate the fuse box and snorkel than swap the manifold...

Thanks mate. Might give it another crack on the weekend then. There were no other issues?

    flipping the intake manifold

Hey guys flipping the intake manifold, do the fuel rails also have to flip with the manifold? I gave it a quick shot but the fuel regulator got in the way. I do know that a longer accelerator cable, hoses etc for iac etc will be needed. Just wondering if the rails also have to be...
