now i'll repeat that in english now for everyone's sake. the computer isn't keeping up with the engine(deliberately to preserve the tranny), or one of the solenoids might be playing up.

other way around, big,short runners make high revs and top end power and longer, narrower runners make more torque and low rev response.

thanks alot. also, does anybody have an idea what sterring rack and pinion setup would fit a mark 2? it would need to be between 550 and 600mm long. can be p/s or not, i don't care.

are there any other cars that don't have a 1UZ that have the same yoke spline as the auto? i'm converting my '72 corona mk2 coupe, so i need to change the length of the tailshaft, and alter the engine mounts and tranny mounts, anything else i need/should do? i thought i might get an...
