Hello Dave
The LJ78 ECT needs a signal which is generated by the LJ78 ecu which is a representation of the TPS position and the signal changes when the throttle is moved.
Basicly at the moment your trans is running in failsafe. I have a few ideas on how to make it work and its on my list of "to do"s. Does you LJ ECt have a 26 pin plug in it? I should be able to find some links to info on how it works so you will understand more. Another option is a aftermarket trans controller. Cheers
