    Started a Miata swap!

There is quite a bit of info in a few threads over on Miata.net if you search under my username. As for engine weight, i believe there is a pic in my gallery of the engine being weighed: http://picasaweb.google.com/alaivins/Miata/photo#4978380341029240850 I believe it was missing the...

    Tig Welder in USA

This isn't a big deal. Slide your collector off and grind off the welds at the head flange. Remove the 4 runners and weld all the tubes' joints individually and then reassemble before welding to the head flange. I am assuming your collector is completed already. andris

    Started a Miata swap!

They are very expensive and add weight and complexity. Bullet has a tubed front end, so it is unlikely that anything they sell is applicable to what v8mx5 or I are doing. andris

    Possible Warning on SSAutochrome Turbo

Those turbos are poor quality knockoffs of garrett turbos with zero engineering behind them. Beware! I have seen pictures of a compressor housing that split in half! Imagine what would happen if that POS cast wheel explodes. I'll bet they don't meet wheel containment standards like any real...

    R154 - 1UZfe Dellows bellhousing

Great, thank you for taking those measurements for me. I am planning a swap into a miata and surprisingly the shifter is farther back than you would expect for such a small car. The stock transmission locates the shifter about 800mm from the front of the bellhousing, and from what I can gather...

    R154 - 1UZfe Dellows bellhousing

Hey, I have been trying to get accurate dimensions for the various transmissions mated to the 1uz. Could you do me a favor and measure from the front edge of the bellhousing where it mates to the engine to the center of the shifter? It would be a big help to me! Also, what is the length of...
