That's some nice hardware, did your builder see any need to modify the oil drain-back in the heads?
Some engines that were primarily used at lower rpms will tend to hold oil in the heads and not drain fast enough for continous hi rpm use with the added turbo oiling capacity.
Any pictures of the ports?

That is very hot... cant wait untill you have that thing running, too bad you didnt get any cams for it or that would be even more insaine than it is now. Incredebly strong man... love it

Hi Dave,
did you end up coating your group buy pistons?

I am looking at getting this done soon and would be interested in your thoughts. Great work on the motor, will you shead some light on your custom rods? Are they a direct replacement? What are the chances of getting a group buy on your Rods for all of us Ross piston users?

Cheers,
Nath

I will create another group buy on Ross custom pistons with Chevy H-Beam Forged Rods. However, the stock rods are very good too, but those rods were sponsored by www.tmengineering.net and therefore i used them.

The engine is at my mechanic's shop and its being work on. Hopefully in a week or so i can get it back and dyno again....

Probably too much to really use them.

I think the answer is to purchase a set of forged rods without the machining process carried out.

That way you could have the big and little ends machined to the sizes we need and where we need them.

I guess email/ring different rod manufacturers and see what they say.

I also feel you would get a better reception being in the States. I think they would say "they're in Asutralia, wherever that is, they won't buy anything" whilst you're essentially a local and they're used to dealing with you guys.

If you give it a go you will need all the rod specs such as diameter of the big and little end plus the overall length between centres.
