I am talking about Lexus SC300 Vs MKIV Supra. They both have similar parts, chasis and so on. I am wondering did Toyota created the SC300 first the upgrade other parts for the Supra? Or its the other way around? Let the flame begins.

Lex, I really don't know about the SC300 and Supra history...

However, in regards to your thread title "which comes first the chicken or the egg"...I would have to say the egg comes first as the chicken is hatched from the egg...Unless I decide to get hungry for breakfast and scramble up that egg...Then the egg is first... It all depends on my appetite....:scratchchin:

Egg and chicken sandwich... Mother and child reunion...

Im guessing same time. for the SC300 and the mkiv supra. even tho the SC300 was sold a few years earler.

The soarer and supra where always brothers, sharing parts and such

mz10 - ma60
mz20 - ma70
jzz30 - jza80

soarers where always slighly more luxury coupe versions of supras.

Hmmm... based on "google" (for all the accuracy that is worth) the 3rd gen Soarer began in 1991.

While the 3rd gen Supra was built through model year 1992 possibly 1993 in Japan

So, it would seem the Soarer pre-dates the Supra... or at the least they were developed together with the Soarer/SC being released first while the Supra MKIII was still being sold.
