What transmission are you running?

If the standard Toyota are you running forward to a V drive then aft to a diff?

Sounds interesting.
 
A modified VW, late baywindow 3 spd auto.
No chance of changing the final drive train aside from the tyres and rims.
A porsche box is the only other option and i dont love my car enough to spend that sort of money at this stage.
 
Beetle Wreckers in Sydney had a UZ powered Transporter ute about 12 years ago.

The engine/trans was in the storage bins under the tray driving to a narrowed Holden diff.

It was quick and surprised a lot of people.

Where's your radiator mounted?

Another guy in the same suburb ran a '50's Kombi with a Chev big block mounted in the load area and ran the drive forward to a V drive and then back to a narrowed Ford 9". Used to run it at the drags and it could wheelstand for the whole 1/4. He steered with fiddle brakes like a dune buggy.
