Dumping the clutch heavily and snapping gears (very quick changes) is what can kill these boxes (strip gears).
Providing you have the air bleed setup to a fairly slow speed (ie, that of a moderate clutch dump), then it should be fine.
Alloy W5x's are cheap enough to blow up a couple a year.
A full face organic clutch will help to.
An unsprung puck would probably kill the box (too much shock loading)
