New Intake Plenum

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
toojayzee, the new manifold is complete, were just waiting on a Q45 flange. we will have pictures shortly followed by flow numbers.

The runners are the stock 2uz runners ported and smoothed. They are not compatile with the 1UZ's as the angle of the head port face is different. We started a 1UZ manifold some time ago, but never got around to finishing it.

It'd work on a 2gen 1uz or 3uz (vvt-I engine). The biggest difference between those and the 2uz is the air assist injectors.

Good looking work. Is this for a turbo/forced induction application? The biggest advantage to the stock intake is the long runners.

Here are a few recent pictures of the previous intake manifold both on the motor as well as fitted in the bay...of an SC to boot. There was speculation as to whether or not it would fit...
The intake fits perfectly, and the hood shuts without problem, as intended. This motor could even be lowered some, but as it turns out, no need:)

There's no bolts in the middle.

you can see all the bolt holes in the picture, they are in the center line of the intake ports so with a small swivel joint on a small torque wrench you can easily get them in. you don't need to torque them up that much so would pose no real problems.

did you retain the threaded bosses for the stock injector rails btw?

and when installed on the engine how high towers it above the camcovers?
