Hello Gang,

The supercharger from 2003 Cobra is about 400 usd on ebay. What do u guys think about that..... root or twin screw? Whipple 2.3 L is about 900 on ebay. Debating......

Get whipple, they are the best

Cobra uses an M112 the Lightning the MP112.

A Cobra unit will fit under hood lots easier then the Lightning unit.

If I had my time again I'd probably go Whipple but 12 months ago you never saw a whipple on eBay.

Do it.

It'll negate the need for intercooling which will allow you to keep your starter where it is and should give better HP than the Eaton.

I'll be jealous.

It begs the question though.......... if the Whipple is so great why the hell are they on ebay in the first place????????????

As Zuffen said they weren't on ebay a year ago but they are now so have they fallen out of fashion or been replaced by something better? If so the real thing to have is what ever these people are replacing the Whipple with?

From what i have been reading on ebay sellers. Most of the seller wreched they trunk and they have to part it out. M112 supercharger are being replaced by whipple 2.3Liter for the Cobra crow. Most Cobra owners are replacing the M112 with eith Kenny Bell or Whipple 2.3 Liter.

The Lightning guys are swapping to Whipples as
well.

More boost, less power to run it and much less heating of the charge air.
