juask afew questions before u buy bellhousing

i have heard

dellows bellhousing for hjilux 5 speed cannot be redrilled to suit bigger supra 5 speed


castlemaine bellhousing can

i might be wrong

and make sur eu get good enough clutch

i did a 1u in a hilux a yr ago with std hilux 5 speed i dont think its broken yet

the hilux 5 speed's reliabilty all relies on how you drive it, i am not using it in my conversion

I use a 1UZ-FE -> A340E gearbox -> R1FA gear drive transfer combo in my lux

I made my own adaptor to bolt the A340E and R1FA together

hey sideshow will a std supra box work or does it have to b turbo spec?

P.S had va look at your site any plug and play looms? if so how much?

i think any box will fit just depends how much u want to spend on it wherether u want a strong or a medium strength box
best call castlemaine and see what boxes their adapter can be made to fit

to make a plug and play loom is not an easy job
unless u suply me the whole enigne loom and maybe the chassis loom from yr car and the whole engine loom from the 1uz

if u supply me the 1uz loom i can wire it all up so all u r left with is afew wires to connect all which are labelled

Hilux team,
FYI: The standard 2wd 5speed prior to 98 won't handle the 1UZ for very long (and yeah you say 'but I'll treat it gentle' - its virtually impossible with double the HP)
After 97 they started using the same W5(?) that was found in early model supras.
