Hilux 4x4 1uz swap pics !

Hello everyone, just thought I'd post a few pics of the work so far, slowly getting there !

1995 4x4 Hilux 140000 miles solid front end now has 1994 1uzfe 170000 miles and 5 speed manual r150 box. Homebrew engine/gearbox mounts ls400 manifolds (it's tight) no cats and lsd from hilux surf on the way !

Is that bellhousing adapter plate?

Jay351,yes that is an adaptor plate that goes from the stock 1uz bellhousing (with modifications!) to the r150 'box and no need to modify the gearbox input shaft either if you use the billet flywheel and associated clutch.

How much does the adaptor plate run?
Looking for feasable options for the swap besides a bellhousing from halfway across the world...

In a Surf/4Runner?
Use the 3.0 diesel radiator and fit vents in the bonnet.

As above, used a new radiator in mine with a big kenlowe fan and have not had any probs.
