At a loss...

I'm new to the forum and new to a 1991 LS400 that I'm doing a tune up on. I changed the caps and rotors and now the car runs rough, raw gas smell from exhaust, shudders when put in gear and doesn't have any power. I checked the coils and they're sparking. Checked all of my connections. At a loss on this as this should be a straight forward tune up. Thoughts on this? Thanks!

* Double check the spark plug wires orders
* Recheck vacuum lines

Found the issue. Rookie move. I had one of the rotors 180 degrees off. Once it was put on correctly, as was well. Thanks for the assistance.
