Just researching, was looking at using a scangaugeII in my car, so was just trying to tell which engine I should be looking out for.

See this is where the confusion lies for me :confused:, one person will say its '96+, another will say '97+ etc., you've said 2000+.......any one of these could be the case. That's why I wondered if there is a way to check from the ecu part number or some other way like that?

Can anyone confirm that it's '96+ that has obd2? Is there anyway to check from the engine/ecu numbers?
