ok thanks for the info. also what models of toyota have the right engine in them for the hilux conversion?

Hey just after a little help in finding what gearbox is in my hilux and if it can be used with the 4l v8. It's a 94 2.4l diesel. Also if anybody has a list of parts that I will need to do the conversion and things to consider when selecting the engine that would be appreciated. Thanks.
