From what I remember , the T/B was flat against the trans bearing retainer, I haven't had to pull the motor or trans in 6 years so I'm not 100%. I know for sure it was easier to setup then the t56 T/B I just did on a single disc.

thank you for the reply, I can ether change my cluster to 93-94 which isn't cheap or find a good 90-92 ls400 20ppr vss and make an adapter. Ether way I'm looking at spending some money for a working speedometer, for now it can wait till I finish the supercharger install.
