    Twin turbo's from Subaru

They say seperatre pipes cuts down back pressure from the turbo, and increases spool up time, but it also looses low end, but increases mid to high end power. Where on the other hand a bell mouth collector allow for good flow down low, but in high RPM situations there is a lot of turbulance...

    Stolen

nothing like digging up an olddie and blowing off the dust, i'd be safe saying, he's taken up a new pass time, one that has nothing to do with knocking off g/box's

    nitrous on a 92 sc400?

that just reminded me about stupid people and NOS..... One one of the Tekademics Mischief DVD's, the fool who heat up his bottles with a blow torch, smoking, at a fuel station to race a worked racing Banshee.... Whilst he didn't go booom whilst heating the bottles or smoking at the servo, he...

    nitrous on a 92 sc400?

After reading that article, and looking at all the site with relevant stuff on the who NX drama's, there seems to be one sticking point. The noodle left the bottle hearer on..... if he knew or didn't know the heater was on, it should leave the onus on him. I'd like to see someone claim...

    nitrous on a 92 sc400?

the other thing to watch is when refilling smaller, say 2 or 5 lb bottle off bigger bottle, when you make the bottle getting filled cold and then the bottle being used as the filling bottle hot, to try and squeeze as much NOS into the bottle as possible, they kind of go funny shapes when bought...

    Twin turbo's from Subaru

about the only thing i see wrong with those flange's is that on the larger plate, it doesn't have a wastegate outlet, in which i mean, the wastegate does have a hole for it self, it needs to turn at right angles and join the exhaust flow, which will cause turbulance. but none the less good...

    Twin turbo's from Subaru

it depends on which model of the STI turbo, as if it is ball bearing or not. but none the less the only down side is the flanges for the turbine inlet manifold, it's a funny shape, stupid subaru, limits what upgrades you can put in. I know since i have a RS turbo....

    Twin turbo's from Subaru

for $90 can't go to wrong, considering people run up to 18psi boost off these into the EJ20T motors, effectively they are going to be fed off 4 cyclinders so they shouldn't been oversped

    Toyota F1 welding bubble

/\ /\ right on the money, titanium needs to be inert, or the weld and metal turn to crap, and goes brittle. I looked into to getting titanium tubing for some projects, until i got told about the extra effort to weld it.

    340E or 341E Tranny Upgrade

Seems to be the same thought from the guys at MV auto's in Oz. They have the standard auto hold 440kw ATW in a Celcior, but if the box is for racing, go the powerglide, T350 or T400 since they can be built to handle loads of abuse. This is what i'm looking at for my car, but with a 3000rpm...

    Valve Body

i was speaking with the guy at MV automatics in Sth Australia today, and they do a valve body upgrade, where they modify line pressures and the like to reduce the stock shift time on the 1uz-fe auto
