I cleaned the idle cotrol valve, I did it exactly as desribed per a link I was sent via this sight. It's got to be something else. My best guess at this point is that it is the fuel ecu, has anyone had a similar problem due to a bad fuel ecu, or does the fuel ecu control start up?

It stalls when hot. I have found that when I have the AC on at start up that the car will start evry time.

I was told that the fuel ecu was directly behind the drivers seat in the back seat area right under the window, this was the electrical box I swapped. And no I don't know what dtc's are? Thanks for your reply.

I took off the idle control valve on my 92 sc400 and noticed that it had some black powder like stuff stuck to a sensor looking deal, looked like a small probe/bullet. I have been having problems starting/idle with my car, and I was wondering if cleaning the sensor looking deal will help?:bad:

People are telling me it's most likely the idle motor. I don't know, this has so much sensor electrical bullshit atatched to it. I swapped the mafs , I also swapped the fuel ecu , I'm totally frusterated. I have to take it to the dealer.
