just on a curious note, how does the stock ECU and airflow meter handle up to 8psi?do you have to run a SAFCII or similar??.I have a 94 hilux and have contemplating a single turbo,low/mid mount turbo for a while, no room in engine bay and i've got custom extractors already, what have others found??

i have nearly the same problem,lacks power till about 3000rpm then goes like a scalded cat.It definately feels like timing and not fuel.With the mod to the sensor it means that it is going to fuel up, so your economy(??...)is going to suffer.i have made extratctors for mine, they have a 3"...

how did you go with your issues???....listen to what jim says, i had the same problem and solved it myself and i'm and old fart that's only ever played with big block chevs and carbies.you've been told how to fix it, check the diagnostic box with those connections and i'll put money on it that...

howdy, i have been reading this thread so i'll chuck my 2 cents in...if you want to hook up try some of these: 1.weight transfer front to rear, which means fast extending front shocks eg 80/20's not 90/10's they are too dangerous on a street car. 2. softer suspension will help plant the tyres...

howdy, just finished mine off over the last week or so, and was underneath the car and noticed suction line to the fuel pump had collapsed, i used a VL turbo pump and 3/8 hose that was fairly stiff in the wall but it still managed to collapse, just a thought check your fuel pressure....oh yeah...
