I have used an ASC oversize pulley on my 4.7 Tundra for years with the TRD supercharger. My pulley is 5.9" and boost went from 6 lbs to 9lbs by changing from the stock pulley. I paid $320 4 years ago. Regards, Wayne

Morris...had to modify the rods..can't remember if we changed the rod journals or the rods themselves for fit, but also need to clearance the big ends (for width) to fit.

Gotta agree with John for the same reasoning. A "good", well engineered turbo system will do wonders, but the costs will eat you up in a hurry...my wallet's tongue is STILL hanging out! :o) Wayne

Thanks, Jake....you bring up a great point...diesel guys have been doing turbo/superchargers for years...forgot to mention that...and your point of proper sizing is correct also...gotta use bigger turbos with a supercharger than if using turbo's alone, all other things being equal of course...

I highly recommend that if all you have to do is harass people concerning something you have absolutely no investment in (money or brains), I'd stay off the forum and be a nice fella...:o)

Do you have the bigger rods and how much do you think you are putting out at the flywheel and what does that thing weigh?

Some great points....pls don't let the 5300 factory rpm confuse the issue...WOT can and does happen at 1000 rpm...so nitrous application wasn't the issue...in fact my system is activated by a microswitch under the accelerator that won't engage until I am at WOT. John is right...lot's of turbo...
